At least one person was killed and more than a dozen injured when powerful tornadoes ripped through Missouri and Kansas late Tuesday .<br/> <br />Homes, churches and buildings were damaged across the area.<br/> <br />The death occurred when the storm swept through a mobile home park in Buffalo, Missouri. The name of the victim has not been released.<br/> <br />Damage was also reported in Branson, a tourist destination in southwest Missouri.<br/> <br />Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters.
