Powerful storms that spawned tornadoes ripped through the U.S. Midwest.<br/> <br />At least nine people were killed in six states.<br/> <br />Aerial video from Hardin County in Kentucky showed collapsed buildings, trapped cars and debris.<br/> <br />Clean up efforts were underway in the town as people sort through rubble and workers attempted to repair damaged utility poles.<br/> <br />The violent weather went through Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky, according to the National Weather Service.<br/> <br />But it's not over yet with more bad weather expected.<br/> <br />Tornado watches were issued for parts of Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and Ohio.<br/> <br />Last year, the Weather Service said tornadoes killed 550 people in the United States, the most in nearly a century.<br/> <br />Sophia Soo, Reuters.
