A remote-controlled bomb exploded outside the Istanbul headquarters of Turkey's ruling AK party on Thursday.<br/> <br />Ten police officers were wounded in the attack.<br/> <br />Istanbul's police chief said the device was placed on a motorcycle and was set off as a vehicle carrying 21 police officers drove past.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) POLICE CHIEF HUSEYIN CAPKIN SAYING:<br/> <br />"It seems they used a motorcycle. The remote control bomb device was placed on a motorcycle. That is the information we have so far. Thank you."<br/> <br />None of those wounded are in critical condition.<br/> <br />Kurdish separatists, far left groups, far right groups and Islamist militants have all carried out bomb attacks in Turkey in the past.<br/> <br />There were no immediate claims of responsibility for this latest blast.<br/> <br />Travis Brecher, Reuters
