ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />A 61-year-old man armed with a hunting gun was holed up with two hostages at this plastics factory on Thursday (March 1) where he had previously worked.<br/> <br />Earlier he had shot and wounded his former boss and another worker.<br/> <br />Officers said the man was protesting over the loss of his job about seven months ago.<br/> <br />Police surrounded the factory in the northern industrial town of Komotini as the drama unfolded.<br/> <br />The town is one of the worst affected in the whole of Greece, where unemployment is running at 21 percent and rising.<br/> <br />A police negotiator was trying to talk the unnamed man into releasing his hostages on Thursday.<br/> <br />Of the two men wounded in the drama, neither was seriously hurt.<br/> <br />One was shot in the leg, the other was hit in the stomach by shrapnel.<br/> <br />The drama ended in the early hours of Friday (March 2) when the gunman released his hostages and gave himself up to police.
