A Congolese couple face life sentences for the murder of a teenage boy they accused of witchcraft.<br/> <br />Kristy Bamu, 15, was tortured and drowned on Christmas day in 2010 by his sister Magalie and her partner Eric Bikubi in their East London home.<br/> <br />They believed he and his four siblings had cast a spell on another child in the family, British courts heard.<br/> <br />Bikubi beat Kristy and his two sisters with knives, metals bars and a hammer.<br/> <br />When Kristy refused to admit to witchcraft, Bikubu, at Magalie's encouragement, used this ceramic tile to crush his skull before drowning him in the bath tub.<br/> <br />Bikubu and Magalie will be sentenced on Monday.<br/> <br />Sarah Wali, Reuters
