Iranians react to threats over the country's nuclear programme as the U.S. and Israel meet to plot a course of action.<br/> <br />One retired colonel said Iran should do something to prevent a potential attack.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(Farsi) RETIRED COLONEL KAZEMI, SAYING:<br/> <br />"(Iran's) officials should, with a united front, like-mindedness, rationality and by preventing mistakes, do something to not provide the enemy with an excuse (to attack Iran.)"<br/> <br />Another Tehran resident said foreign threats will have little impact.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(Farsi) UNNAMED TEHRAN RESIDENT, SAYING:<br/> <br />"In my opinion with war and (different) methods of conflicts, they cannot cause any damage to Iran. Because they have no other techniques, they think they can do this with threats."<br/> <br />During a White House meeting Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had not made any decision to attack Iran's nuclear sites, but the leader did not back down from a military option.<br/> <br />U.S. President Barack Obama is pressing Israel to allow international sanctions time to work.<br/> <br />Iran says its nuclear programme will only be used for peaceful means.<br/> <br />Lindsey Parietti, Reuters
