The Duchess of Cambridge is the guest of honour at St Patrick's Day celebrations in Aldershot.<br/> <br />The 1st Battalion Irish Guard, in full ceremonial uniform, marches in the Aldershot Military barracks in front of the Duchess.<br/> <br />She is presented with a traditional shamrock before distributing them to 40 officers and warrant officers.<br/> <br />The Duchess also honours the regimental mascot, Conmeal, an Irish wolfhound, with a shamrock.
