Julia Roberts turns evil in new fairytale

It's not the usual role for the "Pretty Woman", but Julia Roberts plays the evil witch in new film "Mirror Mirror".<br/> <br />It's a twist on the "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" tale, with the woman playing the heroine in a quest to save her beloved man.<br/> <br />Lily Collins, daughter of English musician Phil Collins, plays the lead role.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Lily Collins, saying (English):<br/> <br />"I think it takes a strong man to accept help from a woman but I think it also says a lot about today's world where girls have to do anything as well."<br/> <br />It's also an unusual role for British hardman Sean Bean, known for playing dark villains.<br/> <br />In this movie he plays Snow White's loving father.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Sean Bean, About Being In Film, saying (English):<br/> <br />"It was very refreshing for me. As I've said before I've played very heavy duty roles before so it was a welcome relief for me."<br/> <br />Roberts was all smiles at the beginning of the premiere but it quickly turned sour.<br/> <br />It was reported that the actress stopped giving interviews at the premiere after a journalist from a US entertainment program asked her questions about friend and former co-star George Clooney.<br/> <br />He was arrested last week for protesting at the Sudanese embassy.<br/> <br />Roberts also seemed annoyed when reporters asked about comparisons to another upcoming film, "Snow White and the Huntsman," starring Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart.<br/> <br />Actor Armie Hammer who plays the prince could not attend the premiere because he is currently filming "The Lone Ranger" with Johnny Depp.<br/> <br />"Mirror Mirror" is set to hit theaters in the United States on March 30 with global rollouts to follow.<br/> <br />Cindy Martin, Reuters
