A sharp reduction in expenses has helped ICICI Bank post a small growth in profit for the quarter ended September '09 despite a fall in total income. For the second quarter of FY'10, the bank has posted a net profit of Rs 1040.13 cr, 2.5% higher than Rs 1014.21 cr earned in the quarter ended September '08.
