According to Israel Venture Capital Research Center, foreign<br />investment funds accounted for 52% of first investments in Israeli or<br />Israeli-affiliated companies. Such companies made 73 deals with 23<br />foreign investments funds, while the rest of the deals were made with<br />Israeli funds. In 2010, foreign investors accounted for only 31% of<br />Israel's high-tech investments. Internet companies elicited the<br />largest number of foreign investments with 27 deals of first foreign<br />investments in 2011, followed by software companies which reached 23<br />deals.
