On Wednesday, an Israeli delegation of senior officials, held<br />negotiations with senior Egyptian officials in Cairo, on the issue of<br />locating a new embassy building. Israel provided several alternatives,<br />presumably meeting the Egyptian requirements, which are currently<br />being studied and reviewed by the Egyptians with the security of the<br />Israeli staff being the their main consideration. Last week Israel<br />evacuated the old embassy building that was attacked in September 2011<br />by an Egyptian mob.
