ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />STORY: The Portuguese Civil Protection agency on Friday said it registered more than 300 fires in the north of Portugal in the last 24 hours.<br/> <br />The blaze causing the most concern for firefighters is in São Pedro do Sul, Viseu.<br/> <br />More than 150 firefighters backed by 40 vehicles are fighting the fire but the fire brigade complain of lack of staff, especially during the night.<br/> <br />While the north is covered in fire, the south of Portugal is experience rain and hail.
