Europe's biggest volcano puts on a spectacular show.<br/> <br />Italy' s Mount Etna erupts in the early hours of Sunday morning, spewing lava and ash into the sky over the island of Sicily.<br/> <br />A trail of lava coursed down the side of the volcano, and some ash landed on a nearby village.<br/> <br />But Italian officials said there was no damage and nearby airports remain open.<br/> <br />Etna is Europe's most active volcano - this is the fifth time this year it has blown its lid.<br/> <br />Andrew Raven, Reuters
