Kenya vows to hunt perpetrators of Saturday's blasts

Scene of the attack.<br/> <br />On Sunday Kenyan authorities examine blast sites a day after two explosions killed one person and injured 31 in the coastal city of Mombasa.<br/> <br />Al Qaeda-linked al Shabaab has staged attacks in Kenya after Nairobi sent troops into Somalia last October.<br/> <br />Now authorities plan to hunt them down.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Kiswahili) KENYA'S INTERNAL SECURITY MINISTER, GEORGE SAITOTI, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We will not tire of hunting for these people until we finish them. They have ruined their country and now they have come here to ruin Kenya's economy."<br/> <br />Saturday's blasts were the first to target Mombasa, one of Kenya's top tourist destinations, and were staged just before the busy Easter tourist season.<br/> <br />Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Odinga says the country is still safe.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Kiswahili) KENYA'S PRIME MINISTER, RAILA ODINGA SAYING:<br/> <br />"Kenya is safe. No one should threaten tourists. They should continue coming to Kenya and the government will protect them."<br/> <br />The government has blamed previous attacks on Somali-based rebels al Shabaab, which formally merged with al Qaeda this year.<br/> <br />The attacks come at a bad time for Kenya, just as it gears up for the Easter holiday season.<br/> <br />Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters
