Australian paramedics responding to reports of car crash declared the driver dead and loaded him into the coroner's van.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Tow truck driver, Trevor Oliver saying:<br/> <br />"As we were sitting there and we were most probably only 20 meters away there was certainly movement in the feet and we became alarmed."<br/> <br />A sign of life --- not long after after the 30-year-old man was pried from his porsche.<br/> <br />Local authorities are investigating the incident.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Simon Thomson, Ambulance Victoria regional manager saying:<br/> <br />"They assessed the man and he demonstrated no signs of life. I don't believe that there was any treatment initiated at that time.<br/> <br />The victim has been taken to a local hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.<br/> <br />Deborah Gembara, Reuters.
