Transgender beauty says she wants to compete for Miss Universe

Jenna Talackova, a Miss Canada finalist, says she's just as qualified anyone else to compete for the title of Miss Universe.<br/> <br />The Canadian beauty was dropped from the contest two weeks ago after pageant officials discovered she was born a man.<br/> <br />Talackova -- who is transgender was disqualified for not being a "natural born woman." Officials then reversed the decision and said the beauty queen would be allowed to participate provided she meets legal gender requirements.<br/> <br />Talackova, accompanied by her attorney, says the ruling isn't clear or fair.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Jenna Talackova, Miss Canada finalist saying:<br/> <br />"I am a woman. I was devastated and I felt that excluding me for the reason that they gave was unjust. I have never asked for any special consideration. I only wanted to compete."<br/> <br />Her attorney Gloria Allred called on Donald Trump, the owner of the pageant, to clarify the organization's position.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Gloria Allred, Attorney For Jenna Talackova saying:<br/> <br />"We want a clear statement that this rule will be eliminated.
