(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />A cargo vessel ran aground in rough seas after hitting rocks at Llanddulas, near Colwyn Bay, on the North Welsh coast of the United Kingdom, on Tuesday (April 3).<br/> <br />All seven of the Polish crew were taken uninjured from the 82-metre long ship by two rescue helicopters, reported the Marine and Coastguard Agency (MRA) website. It also said that there was a five-metre swell and a strong gale blowing at the time.<br/> <br />The vessel, registered in Antigua and Barbuda, was transporting stone but was also carrying 40,000 litres of fuel, sparking concerns that it could begin to leak.<br/> <br />Salvage and counter pollution experts were due at the site on Wednesday morning (April 4) to assess the damage and an operation to refloat the ship set to begin.<br/> <br />The MRA also said the cargo ship was resting against concrete blocks on the beach, near a main highway, which had been closed to allow rescue teams to reach the crew.
