Clu Clu Land Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Clu Clu Land, an action puzzle game developed and published in 1985 by Nintendo for the NES. So what if it's got a weird name? The point is, if you're not the kind who gets dizzy easily, Clu Clu Land is an awesome piece of nostalgia. The inspiration for DK: King of Swing showed us that, even in the 80's, all you needed to succeed was a bubble-like fish-thing, a couple posts to grab hold of, and a swarm of enemy sea urchins to evade. And I don't believe those are gold ingots. They look like rupees to me. And I know a rupee when I see one.
