ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />STORY: When Hanoi police man Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Phan signaled to a bus to pull over, the bus initially stopped.<br/> <br />But suddenly the driver tried to drive off and Phan hung on to the windscreen.<br/> <br />He was driven away for almost a mile before his colleagues managed to stop the bus.<br/> <br />The driver, 37 year old Phung Hong Phuong, had already served four years in prison after a conviction for manslaughter following a traffic accident in 2007. Phuong is now in custody and faces up to three years in prison if he is convicted for disobeying law enforcement, a serious offense under Vietnamese law.
