A New York judge has rejected a petition for diplomatic immunity by former IMF head Dominic Strauss-Kahn.<br /><br />Lawyers claimed the rule should have applied at the time the ex-finance chief was charged with alleged sexual assault in May 2011.<br /><br />The civil suit by hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo will now go ahead.<br /><br />The criminal case was dropped last August.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
