The FBI says five people are in custody after allegedly attempting to blow up a bridge near Cleveland, Ohio.<br/> <br />FBI Special Agent Stephen Anthony announced the arrest.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: FBI Special Agent Stephen Anthony saying:<br/> <br />"These five self-proclaimed anarchists conspired to develop multiple terror plots designed to negatively impact the greater Cleveland metropolitan area. Law enforcement took swift, collaborative action based on this intelligence."<br/> <br />Authorities say the men purchase two IEDs, improvised explosive devises from undercover agents and were prepared to use them. Court papers say they also plotted to attack other sites including a bank and a federal facility.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: FBI Special Agent Stephen Anthony saying:<br/> <br />"Last night, the co-conspirators places the two inert I.E.D.s at the base of a concrete support pillar for this Brecksville-Northfield High Level Bridge and attempted to remotely detonate the devices from a location that they deemed safe and one that would possibly give them an alibi.<br/> <br />The men, who range in age from 20 to 37, are not believed to be linked to any foreign terror groups.<br/> <br />Deborah Gembara, Reuters.
