Adam Yauch, a founding member of white rappers the Beastie Boys, has died of cancer at the age of 47. <br /><br />He passed away on Friday in New York after suffering from the illness for nearly 3 years.<br /><br />The Beastie Boys were inducted in to the Rock and Roll hall of fame last month.
