What was once a site of pride and beauty, the main waterfront in the Philippine capital, Manila, is today little more than a massive rubbish dump.<br /><br />Manila Bay is clogged and polluted, primarily from the squatters who have set up homes along the waterway. <br /><br />The government is trying to clean the bay up, but as Al Jazeera's Wayne Hay reports, there appears to be no quick fix.
