Major celebrations to mark Earth Day's 40th anniversary are being held around the world this weekend.<br /><br />And for the first time, the organisers have selected an Arab city in North Africa to host some of the celebrations.<br /><br />Rabat in Morocco has been chosen because of the country's initiatives to set higher environmental standards and introduce a "Green Tax".<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Todd Baer reports.<br /><br />[April 24, 2010]
