Thousands of people in India have staged a 24-hour hunger strike in protest against recent fraud scandals, including a multi-billion dollar mobile phone scam, that have plagued the country. <br /><br />Many Indians say they are fed up with corruption and that they want their government to do more to tackle the problem.<br /><br />But the real question is whether anyone in the corridors of power is listening, and whether these protests will bring about any real change?<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Prerna Suri reports from New Delhi.
