Titled 'Friday of the Tribes' in recognition of Syrian tribes participating in protests against the Syrian government, today saw large and bloody protests in a number of cities in Syria. <br /><br />Use of helicopter- and gunfire was reported in the northern town of Maraat al-Numan. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rula Amin reports from Lebanon.
