Heavily armed forces are patrolling the Nigerian city of Jos to bring security and relief after days of fierce clashes between rival Muslim and Christian groups. <br /><br />During in the sectarian violence, hundreds of people have died and thousands more have fled their homes in fear.<br /><br />Similar clashes in 2008 left more than 700 dead.<br /><br />From Jos, Al Jazeera's Owen Fay reports on how the Nigerian military is trying to re-establish order to the city.<br /><br />[January 21, 2010]
