Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, has been talking peace with former allies of the Taliban. <br /><br />It is his first confirmed direct contact in Kabul with the Hezb-e-Islami, one of three main groups fighting the government.<br /><br />The fighters have handed him a 15-point peace plan, which includes demands for the withdrawal of international troops.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's David Chater reports from Kabul.
