In case you wonder what Will Smith is up to ... well, it's not choreographing a new music video.

This is the actor practicing his long jump skills alongside British Olympic hopeful Yamile Aldama.

The Hollywood star is currently on a promotional tour for the latest "Men in Black" movie, but managed to fit in a meeting with members from Team GB for a workout in London (May 16).

Putting his athletic skills to the test, sports fan Smith enjoyed shooting some hoops, jumping or better dancing the hurdles and throwing a few punches.

SOUNDBITE: Actor Will Smith on which sport he would like to compete in at the Olympics, saying (English):

"Hmm....if I were competing? You know, I do have an affinity for basketball but I do love boxing, you know when I did 'Ali', as every actor who does a boxing movie "hey I could do this professionally" you know. I just really love the art of boxing and I liked how I felt and of course I was playing Ali so my mind was in a different space but there's nothing like that boxing ring."

Whilst Will's silver screen portrayal of boxing legend Muhammad Ali brought him an Oscar nomination, the 43-year-old said he doubts he would stand a chance against Team GB's Anthony Joshua in the ring.

SOUNDBITE: Actor Will Smith, saying (English):

(Reporter: "Has he got a bit of Ali in him, Anthony Joshua?")

"Listen, I put my hand on his back. I was like damn! It was like stone, I was like man listen, I have got to stay friends with this dude!"

And whilst Smith certainly had the cheers on his side, this sparring Olympic workout even takes the toll on some of Hollywood's greatest.

Kathi Urban, Reuters
