GM's European brands Opel and Vauxhall are likely to be saved from bankruptcy, thanks to a rescue deal with a Canadian car parts company and a Russian savings bank.<br /><br />But the deal does not guarantee any production parts outside Germany or safeguard any of GM Europe's 54,000 jobs.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jayne Azzopardi reports.
