Bajaur, a tribal region in Pakistan, had long been a stronghold of the country's Taliban, until only recently.<br /><br />Pakistan says it has defeated the group and finally gained control of Bajaur after years of intense fighting.<br /><br />The army general in charge of the offensive says there are no more signs of Taliban fighters there, just a huge stock of weapons and abandoned bunkers.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports from Bajaur.<br /><br />[March 3, 2010]
