ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Kylie Minogue sparkled in gold as the Australian pop singer walked her first red carpet in Cannes for the world premiere of French movie "Holy Motors" on Wednesday (May 23).<br/> <br />In the film Minogue plays a melancholy air hostess who is contemplating suicide. She also performs a song for her lost love.<br/> <br />Described as probably one of the oddest choices of film in competition this year, it had been loudly cheered at the press screening earlier in the day.<br/> <br />Minogue looked happy and relaxed and even danced a little as she joined her cast members and the film's director, French film maker Leos Carax, at the Palais de Festival.
