More than 30,000 people have joined demonstrations in Athens as workersd held a nationwide strike to show their anger over the country's deepening financial crisis.<br /><br />Street clashes erupted on the sidelines of the protest in the capital, with masked youths smashing shop fronts and knocking police off motorbikes.<br /><br />Barnaby Phillips reports from Athens.<br /><br />(March 11, 2010)
