It has been estimated that hundreds of eligible voters across the UK have been denied the opportunity to cast their ballot in polling stations. <br /><br />Long queues built up shortly before the polls closed forcing many to miss the deadline for the vote. <br /><br />The electoral commission has promised an investigation into complaints about the voting irregularities.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Richard Martin reports.<br /><br />[May 7, 2010]
