Hong Kong residents have voted in by-elections which opposition candidates have framed as a referendum on political reform.<br /><br />Sunday's elections were triggered when five opposition legislators resigned in January to pressure Beijing to implement full democracy in the former British colony.<br /><br />Rob McBride reports for Al Jazeera from the Chinese territory.
