Amid discussions about the future of Afghanistan, Britain's military leaders have been getting an unusual kind of lesson on the country's past. <br /><br />Some critics of the US-led presence in Afghanistan argue that not enough attention has been paid to the military interventions of the last two centuries. <br /><br />General David Richards, Britain's military head, agrees and has told his colleagues that they could learn a thing or two by going to the theatre. <br /><br />Nadim Baba reports from London.
