Much of eastern Japan remains in ruins. Thousands are still trying to rebuild their lives. <br /><br />This Thursday some may find it especially hard - because it's Children's Day in Japan.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Divya Gopalan visits the Chiba family in Kesennuma, one of the towns that suffered the most devastation. <br /><br />Kesennuma was a busy fishing port turned into rubble. The town was devastated in minutes. <br /><br />For Kiyohide Chiba and his ten-year-old son, everything changed that day.
