Turkey has suspended its strategic partnership with Syria because of ongoing attacks on anti-government demonstrators.<br /><br />In the last 24 hours, at least 17 people have been killed in Syria - that includes two children.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra is following the events for us in Turkey.
