Thanks to a new invention by university students in the Philippines, blind people may be able to use mobile phones with much more ease. <br /><br />Engineering students created a mobile phone for the visually impaired by putting a braille pad on the console to help them read and send text messages. <br /><br />One of the country's largest mobile phone networks is now looking into developing and distributing the braille units at an affordable price. <br /><br />Marga Orgitas reports from Manila.
