Bodies lay covered in blankets on the floor - victims of an artillery barrage by Syrian government forces.<br/> <br />Syrian activists and opposition groups said over 90 people were killed in the attack in the town of Houla in Homs province.<br/> <br />The man speaking in this video says that over 30 of the victims were women and children.<br/> <br />The video was posted on a social media website and cannot be independently verified by Reuters, and there has been no independent confirmation of the activists' accounts.<br/> <br />Other amateur video shows a march in the capital Damascus condemning the Houla attacks.<br/> <br />The violence is the worst since the state of a U.N. peace plan aimed at stopping the bloodshed in the 14 month long uprising against President Bashar al-Assad.<br/> <br />Simon Hanna, Reuters.
