The Syrian government has denied it was responsible for the killings of civilians in Houla, a cluster of villages in Homs province.<br /><br />The UN says at least 85 people were killed, 34 of them children.<br /><br />Opposition activists say some were killed in a barrage of artillery, others shot or stabbed.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports.
