A court in Egypt has confirmed the death sentence for Hisham Talaat Mustafa, a real-estate tycoon, and his associate for the murder of Suzanne Tamim, a Lebanese pop star.<br /><br />The death sentences are the latest in more than 200 this year, half of which were tried for premeditated murders, rape, and drug offences in the past two months.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rawya Rageh reports from Cairo on the crackdown in the courts.
