The United States is set to overhaul its anti-drug strategy in Afghanistan by phasing out the destruction of opium poppy crops.<br /><br />Richard Holbrooke, the US special representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan, says the US policy has only put farmers out of business and engendered sympathy for the Taliban.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nick Spicer reports.
