Russia has declared 2009 as the Year of Youth, but it's a title that rings hollow for thousands of young people living in poverty in the country.<br /><br />There are some glimmers of hope, with one organisation offering circus training to some of those hit. <br /><br />But with no proper support system in place from the state, many youngsters on the street are now living a life of crime and drugs. <br /><br />Neave Barker reports from Saint Petersburg.
