The United Nations has recalled its number two envoy to Afghanistan.<br /><br />Peter Galbraith was dismissed following a dispute over the country's recent presidential election.<br /><br />He was the highest-ranking American working for the UN in Kabul.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports from the UN headquarters in New York.
