US and British forces invaded Afghanistan eight years ago. But despite almost a decade of occupation, Washington is no closer to capturing of killing the man who was the primary objective of the whole war - Osama bin Laden.<br /><br />Contradictory information concerning his whereabouts make that task seem ever more unlikely.
