While Pakistan continues the struggle to tame its Taliban elements, coalition forces are claiming some success in neighbouring Afghanistan.<br /><br />A joint operation by foreign forces and Afghan army has killed Ghulam Yahya Akbari, a Taliban commander, in the western province of Herat. <br /><br />He was believed to be behind the growing insecurity in Herat.<br /><br />But as Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Kabul, it is not clear if the killing will lead to any stability.
