Two leading human rights groups in Israel have released a report that severely criticises Israel for detaining Palestinians for long periods of time without charges.<br /><br />The report says more than 300 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails without any legal basis.<br /><br />While Israeli authorities call this administrative detention, their opponents say it is undemocratic and illegal under international law.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sherine Tadros reports from the occupied West Bank.
