In Afghanistan, an eight-year-old girl and a woman have been killed in a shootout in Ghazni province.<br /><br />Coalition forces say a joint Nato-Afghan operation came under fire, and had to respond. A spokesman said two Taliban fighters were killed.<br /><br />But witnesses say there was no Talibans fighters, and coalition troops were not attacked.<br /><br />Jonah Hull reports.
