A suspected member of a Nazi death squad has gone on trial in western Germany decades after the end of World War II, accused of killing three Dutch citizens.<br /><br />After the war ended Heinrich Boere, 88, had spoken in detail about the murders he allegedly committed in the Netherlands while serving in Adolf Hitler's Vaffen SS.<br /><br />He somehow managed to avoid prosecution, until now.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Tania Page has more.
